My name is Bethany and I am eighteen years old and a high school senior. I will be attending Northwestern University in the fall and majoring in journalism.

I live in a small university town (which means that it’s pretty boring but endearing at the same time) with my parents and my younger brother (along with two dogs). 

I appreciate alone time, but I also love my friends. I have an independent streak — sometimes too much so. I make decisions quickly and spontaneously. I can be brutally honest with those around me, but I’m also a very playful person and an optimist at heart.

I love writing. 

I always have music on. Music is good for the soul.

I don’t drink coffee. I do drink Vanilla Coke, hot chocolate, and tea.

I love quirky things, such as owls and Uglydolls. I grew up in southern California so I’m pretty laidback. I like snow and trees and rivers and fresh air.

I believe in God.
